How to install Cute Editor for Joomla! 1.5.x

CuteEditor for Joomla can be setup on Joomla! 1.5.x in just 5 minutes, simply by following this setup guide.

1. Install Cute Editor plugin.

  • Login to Joomla back-end Administrator section as admin, go to the "Extensions" menu and click on "Install/Uninstall".
  • In the "Extension Manager" page, Click the "Browse" button.
  • Browse to Cute Editor for Joomla Zip file, Click "Upload File & Install" button.

The system will now automatically install the Plug-in for you. Once completed it will inform you that the application has been successfully installed.







2. Make Cute Editor default editor of Joomla.

  • Login to Joomla back-end Administrator section as admin, go to the "Site" menu and click on "Global Configuration".
  • Under the "Site Setting" section you will find a setting called "Default WYSIWYG Editor". Select "Editor CuteEditor" and click on the "Save" button in the top right corner.
